Classes currently run 3 x times/week, and are drop in so there is no need to book.

The sessions times are:

  1. Monday's 6:15pm - 7:15pm*
  2. Tuesday's 5:45am - 6:45am*
  3. Thursday's 6:15pm - 7:15pm*

Please see the event details of the individual sessions in the timetable above for more specific information on the type of class. All classes are beginner friendly and everyone is welcome.

Classes align with the school terms so we will break over the school holidays.

As we are waiting for the new studio to open, classes are currently held in the Community Room at the Derby Recreation Centre located at 44 Ashley Street (southern end).

All the equipment is provided, however if you are coming along regularly it is recommended that you have your own mat.

New students please arrive 10 minutes prior to class to fill out a waiver/registration form or you can fill out a form in advance (see below) and bring it along to your first class.

Exchange: $17 for casual attendance or purchase a class pass here for discounted classes. Eftpos facilities are available on-site & cash is also accepted.

Want to attend but can't afford it or know someone going through hardship? Read about my Gift of Yoga offering for people in need, here.

Want more yoga? Maybe try the online studio - more information here.

Acknowledgment

Yoga Desire acknowledges the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging & recognise Derby, the place where we run our yoga studio as a place of cultural significance to NYIKINA MANGALA and many other Aboriginal people. We choose to practice Yoga & Meditation in a way that is gentle and kind in respect of ourselves, others and the Aboriginal Land that we stand on.
