We desire for yoga to be accessible to everyone & we know that it is not always possible for everyone to attend a yoga class, particularly those in remote places. Join Taryn in the online studio, wherever you are and however you are, from the comfort of your own environment.
Tuesday 15th October @6pm
Saturday 19th October @8:30am
Join Taryn online for an 8-week yoga block of slow flow yoga classes that are gentle, nurturing and kind, focusing on calming the nervous system and reducing mental activity. Classes incorporate a bit of alignment & structured based movement, a bit of free & organic movement and time in stillness. We also explore a number of different ways we can use our breath to depend our inward experience.
An 8-week commitment to you will allow you to build familiarity with your yoga and build self-awareness so that your practice starts to become a bit for intuitive and self-guided. In this way our yoga can become an empowering experience.
The energy of the moon (Luna Cycle) will influence how we practice slightly week by week.
You will receive access to Taryn's Online Yoga Studio Support and Resources closed facebook group where we will continue to build a sense of community and connection. Taryn will post resources that might be interesting and useful based on things discovered in class. You also have the opportunity to ask any questions in this group just as if Taryn was to greet you with answers to your questions before and/or after a class at our regular studio in Derby.
Classes are live and in real time so that the integrity of the whole yoga experience is upheld.
Yoga props are not required, however it is recommended that for extra support a bolster, block, blanket and strap be on hand or household equivalent props such as a thick book, pillow, belt/tie.

Yoga Desire acknowledges the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging & recognise Derby, the place where we run our yoga studio as a place of cultural significance for many Aboriginal people. We choose to practice Yoga & Meditation in a way that is gentle and kind in respect of ourselves, others and the Aboriginal Land that we stand on.
