Taryn runs three group yoga classes per week in the online studio as well as private one-on-one classes online.
Classes are live and in real time so that you receive the same benefits of a yoga class attended in person with personal connection and guidance.
Group classes run in 8-week blocks and the times for Term 1 2020 are:
Yoga classes are gentle, nurturing and kind, focusing on calming the nervous system and reducing mental activity. Classes incorporate alignment & structured based movement, free & intuitive movement and time in stillness. The breath is explored in a number of different ways over the 8 weeks to deepen inward experience. The energy of the moon (Luna Cycle) will influence the practice slightly week by week.
An 8-week commitment builds familiarity in the body and self-awareness to allow for self exploration of your yoga experience.
You receive access to the Online Yoga Studio Support and Resources closed facebook group to build a sense of community and where you can ask any questions you need to help support your yoga. The online closed facebook group contains resources and information that might be interesting and useful based on things discovered in class as well as any applicable announcements/reminders.
Yoga props are not required, however it is recommended that for extra support a bolster, block, blanket and strap be on hand or household equivalent props such as a thick book, pillow, belt/tie.

Yoga Desire acknowledges the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging & recognise Derby, the place where we run our yoga studio as a place of cultural significance to NYIKINA MANGALA and many other Aboriginal people. We choose to practice Yoga & Meditation in a way that is gentle and kind in respect of ourselves, others and the Aboriginal Land that we stand on.
