6 Week Beginner's Course Derby

4th March - 8th April 2020

Wednesday's 6:15pm - 7:15pm (for 6 weeks)

Join me Taryn, in the Community Room at Derby Recreation Centre on Ashley Street on a weekly basis for 6 weeks with other first timers or those who like a back to basics yoga focus. A sense of community is created as we journey through the 6 weeks together.

During the 6 weeks, foundational yoga, meditation & breath work practices will be facilitated with inquisitive and curious beginners minds to encourage greater body awareness and the ability to self-regulate.

Each week we will embody new shapes and forms within our physical bodies using a sensory approach, that is designed primarily to calm the mind, however can have many other added benefits including increased strength, tone & flexibility in the physical body, reduced stress levels and improved sleep.

No yoga experience is necessary and all abilities are very welcome as I am very attentive to the individual and  take a gentle approach to yoga that is people and not pose centred.

Class runs every Wednesday for 6  weeks, class numbers are limited & bookings in advance are kindly required.

Want to attend but can't afford it or know someone going through hardship? Read about my Gift of Yoga offering for people in need, here.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions by contacting me here or via phone on 0400 562 124.
